Information for Prospective Members & Visitors

The club has a regular all year round Swim Venue at the Haddington Leisure Centre, which we hire for our exclusive use. During the Summer Months, we have weekend camping and caravan visits to other clubs (with Sites) on a regular basis. B-B-Qs and beach visits are organised during the summer months.

The Swim Venue at the Sports Centre consists of the Swimming Pool, Sauna and Steamroom Suite, and the Sports Hall, which we use mainly for volleyball and Badminton; it can, if required be set up for other sports. Tea Coffee and Soft Drinks are available at the swim. The pool closes at 7.00pm, some of the members then go along to a local Hotel for a drink (soft drinks and coffee are available for drivers) and a chat, everyone is welcome.

The Swim Venue is held at the Leisure Centre in Haddington East-Lothian, which we hire for our exclusive use from 4.30pm to 7.00pm, Swimming starts at 5.00pm and the doors are locked at 5.15pm for security reasons.

The Swimming Venue is held the First and Third Sundays of every Month. Please come along any Sunday which suits you and meet some of the members, who will make you very welcome, to get the full address of the centre and to let us know you intend to visit, please e-mail: The Sectretary

If this is a new venture for yourselves and either of you feel apprehensive, this is not unusual, so what I suggest you can do, as has been done on many occasions, come along. You will be under no obligation to take part, you can sit in the cafe spectator area, from where you can see all the activities and have a chat to other members, who for various reasons do not take part every week. Normally we find you will join in that evening or come along to the next swim and join in, then go on to enjoy naturism for years to come.

You can have a few visits to our swim venue, before you decide if you wish to apply for probationary membership of Forth. The probationary period is for six months or six visits to the swim which ever comes first.

However if you do not wish to join, but would like to continue to attend as a visitor, that is fine.

The Annual Fee is £20.00 per member, due in January. New members joining part way through the year will be credited for 1/12th of the yearly fee for every full month they miss, this credit can only be used as part payment of the fees for the following year.

The entrance fee for members is £5.50 per person. the fee for visitors is £7.50 per person. All facilities provided are inclusive of this fee, under 16s are free.
